Possible floats stuck??

Post by paasker » Thu Jul 04, 2013 9:27 pm

Hi guys

Need your eyes on this. New to my nc35. Had the carbs off to inspect them. Adjusted float height and pilot screw.
Got them on again, but when turning the fuel tap on petrol poors out of the two front carbs.

It comes out of the overflow pipe (I assume it is). It comes out of the small brass pipes beside the trumpets (front carbs) and the space where the sliders are gets filled with petrol.

Made a pic with red arrows where petrol comes out, please see link

Do you think it's the floats that are stuck? Just funny that it's only the two front carbs...

Kind regards
Martin

tap the float bowles with the handle end of a screw driver, a few strong taps should jarr them free if they are stuck (assuming that the float pin hasnt fallen off or something)
