Gearchange shaft

Post by speedy231278 » Thu Jun 13, 2013 2:55 pm

Something that has been bugging me for a little while. On my NC35, the operating shaft for the gear select drum seems to have a little sideplay in it, and I'm not sure if it is supposed to or not? It's not a huge amount, but it is quite obvious if you grab hold of the gear linkage.

A small bit of movement, say 2mm, is normal and nothing worry about.

Yep, that's the one... the tunnel runs right under my house as it happens! :toot-toot:
