Temp Sensor Leak

Post by iDemonix » Thu Jun 06, 2013 5:40 pm

Trying to sort the NC30 oil leak. New clutch casing gasket ordered. I think the temp sensor may have a slight leak too, might as well replace both whilst the oil is out the bike.

Do I just need the sensor, or do I need a rubber grommet or something?

Cheers,
Dan

I'm pretty sure it's self sealing. Doesn't seem to be an o-ring on the parts diagram. When I had the housing off of mine to replace the stat I removed it, cleaned it, and used a smear of instant gasket on the thread to be sure.
