In that case...if it aint broke - don't fix it ;)

Mine also sometimes needs just a little encouragement to get all four cylinders into life (as you say just a small blip on the throttle) but once woken up - everything is peachy. I think would live with the ocasional blip rather than pulling carbs through to try and negate it. :peace:

out of balance carbs can cause this issue.

Have you ever compression tested the motor either btw?

Its never run properly right has it, in that you've always needed some odd setup to get it running somewhat ok compared to 99% of other stock nc30s so somethings up.

If its runnign ok I wouldnt worry too much about it
Gave in last week and bought some brand new carb tunes from morgan in belfast

I will get my arse into gear and get a compression tester and see if kayla can knock me up an adaptor but other than that bikes running better than ever
Compression test would be good, you can see if anythings awry.

But as above, if its not broken dont try and fix it.

Who is Kayla? I'm assuming she makes adapters for checking compression? Any info would be great!

Thanks!

kayla is a member shes a brilliant machinist/engineer,

unfortunately due to the fact she has too buy taps and dies to create this adaptor it would work out pretty darn expensive so ill be heading down the bodge it route of using an old plug and welding a pipe on and then welding a 14mm nut on etc!
