NC30 A/F ratio
Going on the dyno this weekend, besides tuning for power what A/F ratio should I aim for?

Dont tune to A/F its pointless.krisztian_andre wrote:Going on the dyno this weekend, besides tuning for power what A/F ratio should I aim for?
As long as it isnt super-rich or super lean try to get the most power and the best curve.
Tune to power curve smoothness.
If you have a nice curve the bike will ride smooth and linear thorough the whole rev range, if theres lots of spikes youll have flat spots all over the place.
I seem to remember kevprojx (dyno operator and member on here) when setting up his race NC35 seemed to favour a slightly richer than the technically ideal mixture, good power output, 63hp I think and perfect curve and linear power delivery. Im sure he has some threads in the members bike section
