NC29 Carb Sync
I know that there has to be a great thread out there somewhere, but I just can't seem to come up with the right search term. Can someone link me up with a good NC 29 carb sync procedure? 1-2, then 3-4, then 1-2 with 3-4, is no big deal; it's tricks for gaining access to the vacuum ports that would be a huge help. Gurus? Thanks in advance!

Re: NC29 Carb Sync
You will have to dilodge the carbs so you can tilt them forward to access the ports mate, pain in the arse i know but needs must.
But you could try just taking the fuel line off the carb and take the fuel pump out, i seem to be able to get both hands in and around once the pump is out :).

Re: NC29 Carb Sync
Simple : -
Remove seat
Remove tank - place on wheelie bin
Remove side air fairing scoops by carbs - you may not have to do this if you have dainty hands
Rig up fuel line from tank to pump - or straight to carbs
Use long nosed pliers to remove caps from end cylinders inlets getting in from the side, via removed air scoop thingys
Use same pliers to attach vacuum tubes
Stick hand down back of carbs and remove middle cylinders inlet caps
Use same hand to attach vacuum pipes
Start bike
Run till warm
Make sure idle is set right as per maunal
Make sure choke is fully in - the knob and check the sliders on top of the carbs
Balance two carbs on the left using screw
Balance two carbs on the right using screw
Balance left and right pair with centre screw
Keep blipping throttle as you go
Simples - mine were all over the place.
