NC24 odd clocks

Post by ricko » Wed May 08, 2013 8:34 pm

Hi all

Haven't been on here for a while - was a Banditeer a while ago but now mucking about with a NC24 rebuild ... it was cheap and boy did it need to be !

Anyway, done most of the hard/expensive stuff and got to the point of refurbing the clocks. And a couple of things struck me : it has an MPH speedo dial with 110 top end and the tacho has a 11K rpm redline - also both dials are white faced. There is also an oil light in the tacho which has been wired up to the oil light in the panel below ....

So, the redline is wrong, and afaik there never was an NC24 with mph speedo as standard ...

Any ideas ? Are these from another model or just been butchered ?

custom job,

no idea if the dials were made for that speedo or they were stolen off aother bike.

chanches are that even though the taco is reading wrong the red line is still in about the same place
