Hi, Im a newbie with my first VFR looking for some help please...
My problems started with a loose +battery connection.
After I found and sorted this, my battery would not hold/charge.
I replaced the battery but still it goes flat after use, especially after use with lights on etc.
It was a little time before i found the loose connection so i assumed the battery was in need of a good charge or knackered from not having a decent connection to the bike to be charged.
Battery was old so I hoped a replacement would work but it didnt.
Any help would be much appreciated

Re: NC21 Charging problem
With the engine running measure the battery voltage, should be 14-15 volts dc at 5000 rpm. Then turn headlights ON and battery voltage should remain at 14-15 volts at 5000 rpm.

Re: NC21 Charging problem
Problems with charging are most likely to be caused by a faulty or badly connected regulator/rectifier
