changing fork seals/upgrade - nc35

Post by The Novice » Fri Nov 16, 2012 6:34 pm

well my nc35 forks arrived today. nice - pleased with them  . I am however going to change the seals on them as they dont look the best and the seller said one oil seal had given up.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide to do it pls. seen a 30 one in the past, not a 35.

Is it worth getting the rick oliver upgrade at the same time?

also - can anyone recommend what paint i use for the bottoms pls.

Wouldn't a generic USD fork video on youtube do the job?

Rick O upgrade is highly recommended by people on here.

No idea on paint though.

Strip them and at least change the fork seals.. inspect the copper bushes too, for the price of them it may well be worth changing them for peace of mind.

The Rick O upgrade would be the first thing to do.

Check the pain codes thread? Perhaps theres some info in there, although I haven't checked it for a while but a good place to start.
