Another oil leak post

Post by iArGod » Wed Nov 07, 2012 3:09 pm

Ive read the other post but doesnt seem related to me.

Ive recently taken off the carbs to rejet them and its running really well but when the bike runs theres a slow oil drip coming from the left side, after a long ride started dripping a bit from the right. When the bikes stopped after a ride it continues to drip for a bit and comes to a stop.

Just wanted to see if you guys have had oil leaks like this and where they came from before i start stripping it down AGAIN.

Thanks

Keir

Get all the fairing off and see if you can trace where its coming from. My bet is either the rear rocket cover gasket isnt sealing properly, or the gearbox output shaft oil seal. Id be praying its the rocker cover gasket if i where you!

The small bolt in the V of the engine for the cam gear wasnt tight, was leaking out there
