Never used silicon on my yamamoto and it doesnt blow at all, but guess it won't hurt.

Anyhow, just took a few pictures.

Here is a stock Honda system next to a Yamamoto 1/2 system.

The Honda inside diameter with the gasket in place is near enough 35mm.

The Yamamoto inner diameter is 35mm too.

Found some right sized stainless tube to weld on removing the need for gaskets
