just parozing ebay (as you do) & came across this listing that "claims" it can fit in to a CBR....?
i am still waiting to hear back about the CBR4/6 project bike and a Single side swing would be "nice" esp if one did fit the frame..
but i am sure that on a 600 lump the sprockets wouldnt line up..!

Re: NC24 swing arm on a CBR?
I've seen a nice NC23 with a nc30 swingarm - it looked a good job too. I saw it on ebay, looked a good bike and it sold for something daft like £550. I was skint at the time so could not bid on it...

That bike you showed us has an F2 (or F3?) engine in it so it is hard to say what will or won't line up!leopard_pagan wrote:just parozing ebay (as you do) & came across this listing that "claims" it can fit in to a CBR....?

The more usual conversion is an F1 motor, as they go in so easily. In that case the front sprocket is precisely where a 400's would be.
Apart from that the ad is speculating wildly, he has no idea what it would fit. If the same as nc30 arms, the shock is off-centre, so won't go. ISTR the nc24 has a funny-sized back wheel too, something like 130/70-18 tyres?
If you wanted to do it and were determined you might be better off using a Bros swingarm, as these also fit VFR750 wheels. Though you would have to swap to a direct-activated rear suspension so would need a suitable shock, too.
Hmm, much cheapness...

Re: NC24 swing arm on a CBR?
Sorry to drag up and old thread, is anyone here still looking for a NC24 swingarm? I have one for sale thats in really good condition.
Also, in response to your questions. The NC24 is not off-set and the bros swingarm is 10mm bigger than the NC24.
The bros is also really expensive to mill down as you would be milling then having to brace a hollow tube along the middle to support the weight and the loss of material on the sides.
The advantages of course are that you dont link shock linkage or dogbones.
