Is it possible to wire a stop/tail bulb into a indicator housing? and if so how?

Single filament indicator housing will not mate with dual filament stop/tail bulb. What are you trying to achieve?

Re: Brake light wiring question
I take it that the bulbs in the lamps in your picture are single filament. The single filament bulb holder will not have two contacts to suit the twin filament bulb nor the correct keying. As they say, anything is possible with enough time and money LOL.
Your best bet is to find a dual filament socket that can be plugged into your lamp or easily modified to fit.
Having said that, adding twin contacts is possible and the keying issue can be overcome by modifying the twin filament bulbs.

If your going to hack about then any socket for a twin filament bulb of the appropriate type can be used with some epoxy or something to bond it togheter
