Post by j77drs » Fri Jul 20, 2012 8:19 pm

hi all

i was out when my nc30 starting running rough, its at low revs ( under 6000 rpm )

now it runs rought at low revs as if its over fueling, it clears the nhigher through the rev range

i have cleaned the carbs but the same problem

any ideas ?

its strange as there was no warning of it happening and i have cleaned all the carbs ?

just to add, when the choke is on and you give it throttle it seems much better

Vacuum pipe OK?

Both choke linkages moving freely?

When were valve clearances last checked / carbs balanced?

Pilot passages partially blocked, from cold start the and let it tick over and check without burning your hands that each down pipe is getting hot. If any are cold then that's the carb you need to pay attention to.
