WATER PUMP LEAK

hi guys im new here ..my rvf 400 water pump leak ..its a kind of weird as the leak not much..at water pump behind got small hole the leak come from there..what can i do to solve the problem :(

the seal has failed inside the pump, problem is i dont think the o-ring is listed as a part you can buy either.
if you remove it and cant get it matched, then replace the whole pump with another good used one.

buy a new waterpump.

As crm has said it isnt servicable. it will eventually sieze and snap (had it happened beofre)

the Honda book says to replace also..

I when to bike shop they say it's can be repair ..I did it my self once and I change the o-ring that going inside the engine and the gasket between the pump but it's still the same leak again

It can be repaired on some bikes..but not this one.

Easier and cheaper to get a decent pump and replace it in one go. Easy.

Same thing with my srad leaking from the little hole. its the mechanical seal which is buggered on mine just waiting for the part to come cost £14 for a tiny seal lol

that o-ring stops the oil from leaking out the engine.. it doesn:t stop the water.

the water pump o-ring on the nc30 is inside the waterpump you cannot get out :(

I brought 2nd hand pump from good bike for cheap, it was in very good condition and still works good now.

thanks buddy for that great info..in here it's a kind difficult to get 2nd parts and new parts really cost
boom..any places that I can shop in a good cost
