Re: Installing HRC carb kit
I suggest doing as Cammo suggested: since the fuelling is in the ball park take it to a reputable dyno. Get the fuelling really dialled in before you start on programming the Ignitech. I just thought it worth mentioning that in my case the main jets went down 1 size all 'round when I installed the hi-RPM plugs. What about the rest of the package? Valve clearances etc?

Re: Installing HRC carb kit
well, after my crash i found shitloads of crud up in my carbs, and one tiny, death inspiring little tiny twig on top of one of my valves :O i blew them all out with an air gun, didn't appear to be too much dirt, but I might be up for a re-shim or some re-seating goop. Son of a bitch...

Also question, I have my needles shimmed to 1mm, still boggy as before 10k on the race track, should I try having ricks slide springs in there instead of stock ones as well?

Re: Installing HRC carb kit
And check this out, in the RVF HRC ENGLISH Translation it says the following...
http://www.akhara.com/nc30/nc30manuals/ ... nglish.pdf
Cylinders 2&4 //////// 1 and 3
Jet Needle (JN) J9MB(second column) ///// J9MB(second column + one shim)
(Its on page 6)
So even the needles should be stepped as the jets are... very interesting!
