Hello,
My NC30 has been stood for about three years whilst I've been at uni, trying to get it on the road and obviously having some problems getting it started. The engine is turning over, all four spark plugs have good sparks, I've check the fuel flow from the tank (applied a vacuum to it) and no issue there...
With it been stood so long my next point of call was to overhaul to carbs and this is where I've hit a problem, I've slackened the upper clamps on the cylinder head intake rubbers and the clamps are moving freely, however I cannot ease the carburettors off of the intakes. I know its meant to be a tight but its not budging a mm, it feels welded in place... Hoping someone would know a trick in getting them off? An advantageous lever point?
Thanks for the help
Haley
