does seem these little ncs are delicate to any change in intake.

sorry to bring this thread back to life but I have the same problem with my nc35. it'll rev to red line stationary but when driving it struggles to go above 5500 rpm. Can you tell me where this flap is so I can check it? cheers

I'd recommend creating a new thread to be fair - and don't rev your bike to redline in neutral...it is a nasty thing to do to the poor beast!!
