speedo, not cable, front wheel bit.

hello all,
thought my speedo cable was broken and turns to be the part that it goes into at the front wheel. does anyone know what its called and where i can get one please. passed my test wednesday :grin: :grin: , broke it thursday :( :( :( and now back on the bus :cry: :cry: :down: . cheers. rope.

It's just a drive unit.

Whip the wheel off and check the tabs on the drive unit, they may be bent or not located in the hub correctly. If they are bent, heat them up a little before bending them back or they'll snap.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
