OEM for me too, not the kind of job you want to do twice, Honda 1's about £20 each, change them then they'll be good for another 20 years

Well, no problem. Just was curious. I will be using the Pyramids forks seals and caps for the coming period, so will put here my experiences with them.porndoguk wrote:I have no idea tbh, i used the genuine Honda hrc seals on minemicpec wrote:porndoguk wrote:Roller,
Pyramid are shit, quality are shit and i had 2 lots!
Wemoto no better,
Next set i but when i can be arsed to remove them 3rd time round ill be fitting OEM BB & Cup as mr honda intended
Sorry to hijack this thread, but understood that Pyramid headstock bearings are not good quality wise...does this also count for their dust & oil caps for the front forks...I have just fitted 2 sets of them to my 2 sets of RVF forks. Compared to the genuine RVF parts these Pyramids are more tight mounted with less movement.

I use KOYO taper roller bearings on my 35 and they are so much better than the ball and cup type. I feel the steering more precise and teh turn in is smoother and quicker. Also KOYO make the standard honda bearings so the quality is bang on. top and bottom bearings pls seals from A+R racing are about £35ish.
I used pyramid fork seals at the start of last season and they have been fine up till now, so would use them again.
