just got hold of a VFR750 5" rear wheel for my NC30 and was wondering if the VFR750 axle will fit into the NC30 hub as an alternative to modifying the NC30 axle.
Does anyone know?
Does the VFR750 axle fit the NC30?

Re: Does the VFR750 axle fit the NC30?
Why not ? I just put an nc30 axle in a 1997 vfr750, so I would think it would work both ways. The vfr axle is much longer due to the cush drive, rotor is bigger, etc. so lotsa fiddling required, but I think it would be doable.hannakournikova wrote:Nope, but Rick Oliver does the modified hub

Perhaps that's what he meant when he said 'modified'?slo12 wrote:The vfr axle is much longer due to the cush drive, rotor is bigger, etc. so lotsa fiddling required, but I think it would be doable.hannakournikova wrote:Nope, but Rick Oliver does the modified hub

Rick modifies the stock nc axle so there is no other messing about, which is nice.
The vfr axle would take spacers, caliper mount adjustment, etc.
