Can any one tell me where the starter solanoid on a NC23 is earthed??
I seem to have a dodgy connection, sometime the bike will turn over and start imediatly and others all i get is a clicking sound of the solanoid but after a couple of atempts it fires into life.
Many thanks

Re: Earth Point
PS.. if the bolts securing the motor to th engine are tight, the positive (on top of the starter motor) is tight and the solenoid connections are tight, and the battery terminals are tight....it might be a dodgy connection on your starter button....

Re: Earth Point
Also make sure the stud going into the starter is good. After a while they lose contact with the brushes and have to be rebuilt. I've had to rebuild mine before.
