Ok, so after sorting our the erratic RPM reading on the dash. Just want to know, what the consensus is on RPMs when the bike is started on full choke and choke-free idle? Referring to the RVF here...not sure if it's the same on the VFR also.
If I remember correctly my previous VFR would idle at around 3000 on full choke and around 1200-1300 when the choke was shut off...would this be the same range for the RVF?
Cheers,
Ron

Re: Full Choke and Choke-free Idle RPMs - RVF
From what I've been told, idle is between 1000-1500 (usually sitting at 1300ish) and full choke is around 3000 (Don't quote me on that though, I'll have to check.)
Either way, that's what I've got my bike set to and it seems to be going ok!

Full choke is about 4k on mine. Idle is somewhere between 1300 - 1500 as my adjuster screw has a habit of moving while riding.
