Got my nc24 through the mot today! woo!!, when and taxed it, but it just doesnt seem to pull as i expected... 1st and 2nd are okay, not breath taking but anything after that, well its doesnt feel like theres any ponies there at all.
I got it up to about the 140kms mark, took a bit of doing though, like about half a mile to get there.
I got a sv650 injection model, i dont excpect it to be as responsive, but i heard that they should pull about the same?
Any one any ideas?
The only thing i could think is it has a 33bhp kit in it, can i check with out taking the carbs off?
Cheers Sam
How can i tell if my nc24 is restricted?

Re: How can i tell if my nc24 is restricted?
Yes you can.
They were never electronically restricted so you can check for a 33bhp restrictor kit. If it doesn't have one you can get it dyno'd and see how it's running.
If you remove the tank, and top of the airbox and air filter so you can see the velocity stacks of the carbs (rubber trumpets)
If you use a screwdriver etc to lift up the carb slide and have somebody open the throttle so the butterfly moves out the way, you can then shine a torch down into the inlet port you should be able to see straight down.. if theres a 33bhp restrictor in there you will see a metal washer with a smaller hole in it.
