Re: jmca exhaust system
JMCA is not a manufacturer - it is the same kind of deal as a BS mark or E mark on a can.
Get some pics up...it should be easy to ID

Re: jmca exhaust system
He's right on the money.
JMCA (Japan Motorcycle Accessories Association) are a testing body who approve the exhaust has met all regulations to be fit for road use, mainly noise (db)
Yoshimura in particular use different coloured JMCA labels on their cans if you buy a JDM one, their usually capped to somewhere in the 90's (db wise)

Re: jmca exhaust system
Thanks guys . Sorry for delayed reply . Im away from home at present.
Can has no other markings other than the JMCA alloy plaque.Carbon fibre job in poor condition but thought Id cut it back an inch to remove damaged bit . Nice welding on alloy bits. Sounds like it wont be a problem noise wise but could always fit a db killer.

Re: jmca exhaust system
Anyone know what slip on exhaust pipes will pass Japan's noise level restrictions? I searched the net and could only find Vance & Hines slip ons for 2009 or later models. I own a 2006 HD FLHTCUI Police Edition and would like to find some slip ons that will pass the Japanese standards. Thanks.

Re: jmca exhaust system
If I remember rightly it's under 92db, I think thats at 4000rpm, distance is quite close though.
I don't understand what your trying to achieve though?
Anything quiet or baffled shoudl be fine
