Just building an Nc30 for Track Days from all the bits and peices i have laying around from my other 2 Nc's i have done up.
My problem is i am missing a Lower Square Radiator and Fan and i have 3 options....
1.Buy a Rough second hand rad/fan off Ebay for £50 ish (Hope it doesnt leak)
2.Buy a New Chineese Rad and hunt for a Fan/Thermo Switch £70 + £35(Fan/Switch)
3.Buy a New Chineese Rad and do without a Fan. £70
Do i need a Fan if i will only be doing Track Days?
Hopefully lots of air will flowing through the Rads and i wont be stationary for very long.
I would run a Thermo Switch and a Temp Gauge to keep an eye on it
Any Thoughts???????
To Fan or not to Fan

Re: To Fan or not to Fan
In the two years I ran my NC21, the fan had never worked... eventually I found it had seized solid!
I'd try it and see; I don't think the average climate in the UK is anything to worry about. If you do find the motor runs hot, you could try a coolant additive.

Re: To Fan or not to Fan
I don't run a fan on my racebike and haven't had any issues either. Only time I have ever had a fan switch on, on any bike was being stuck in traffic trying to get out of London!
