29s make a shocking sound when the exhaust is blowing it could be that.

It doesn't sound in that video like its running on all 4 cylinders though.

It's your starter clutch. It's bad. That is the noise.

BUT it IS running on three. That is a completely separate issue though.

Mine makes more of a buzz kinda like a gear running.... (but not the cam gears) i heard similar noise when i had a katana 1100 and the Starter Gear wouldnt disengage , Im going to check the Starter Clutch to see if thats a fix

Also i noticed that the bike runs on 2-3 only when i have the choke open, any ideas for that?

i like to fix the bike instant of parting it out.... :?

Clean the carbs, that would give an indication of dirty carbs as the choke feeds more fuel.

But I guarantee it's your starter clutch. It does sound like a gear noise. It took me taking my head off and replacing the center gear and cams and the noise was still present. The starter clutch is what it is. Source another one prior to dismantling that one as the problem is not obvious.
