follow this guide from start to finish... it will tell you where your problem lies.
if you are unsure about electrics and using a multimeter, just go on youtube and watch a few tutorials. i never used one before and after an hour on youtube i had learnt all i needed to know to use it properly and understand it.
you need to be methodical with the charging system otherwise your just gonna waste money on fixings things that aint broke.
