NC30 with an NC35 exhaust

Post by Le_Blur » Sun Oct 16, 2011 9:52 pm

I have a full, standard system from an NC35 on my NC30. The bike came like this and, to be honest, I hate it. The sidestand hits the underside of the pipework when it retracts and I just can't wait for the day I have the funds necessary to replace the whole thing with a Tyga system or similar. Anyway, my main issue is that it's started 'blowing' recently and the little ticking noise it makes at idle is getting on my tits. I've looked on eBay at replacement gaskets and clamps but can't find much for NC35 exhausts.

Does anybody know if NC30/35 exhaust gaskets are cross-compatible?

Do I need to run NC30 gaskets where it bolts to the engine or NC35 ones? Is there actually any difference?

Thanks very much. Just the sort of reassurance I was after.

Cheers, fella. I got all of them ordered up last night from DSS. I just wanted to clarify if I could order NC30 ones or not.
