So the one I took off my '89 NC30 which differs from the black one? How do you know it's a 30 arm from the pictures? The black one had the bushes which measure the same as the 35 and the black one is smaller in width than the one I took off. So now totally confused!!!!

The nc35 arm has a different caliper bracket and no ridge down the swing arm ( on the exhaust side)
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

Do you mean the ridge that is positioned above the torque arm? I have also noticed that in the picture where I show the spindle/bolt the bush with a flat on is a spacer and the flat has been machined so it don't interfere with the circlip and to I assume space out the difference. I will look on flea bay at some 35 pics unless you have any?

I have just looked at one and it has the marker for the chain adjuster down disc side and locates in a groove is that correct?

Therefore as there is no space for a dust seal would you therefore recommend sealed pre greased bearings and get this bush bored/reamed out to 20mm?

mine measures 212mm across the non-hub end - so its an NC30 one?

did you figure out which your is?

its an NC30 one for sure, but maybe whoever had the black swingarm machined the faces down for hybrid for another bike,

where did you get it from, and what does it measure side to side?

i got it off Andy in Plymouth from the forum. It measures 208mm and it has only been taken off the roller bearing end hence why i can't get the dust seal on. And like I have said it had bushes made up for an RVF spindle as they are 17mm bore. Mt plan of action now is to get sealed roller bearings and get the bush/sleeve reamed out to 20mm. I may not even need this bush aas the adjuster nut pushes up against the bearing to prevent the swinger from going off cock!!

Why not just buy the right arm, they aren't expensive and it'll be a straight swap.

Well when I have spent £20 for the arm £35 powder coating £30 on bearings as the needle one is a biatch to get out and usually need to grind out if you don't have the puller. Hence why I can't afford to do it all again!
