Your understanding of ohm's law and mine differs and as I do not wish to cause an argument, we will just go our separate ways with regard current, volts and ohms.

Loadsa comments here ... must admit I havnt read all in their entirety - did you get an answer RE: looong hose?
It attaches underneath the tank on my NC30 - look for a nipple near the front in the middle on the underside.
Not sure how useful it is, I was told by my local mechanic after weeks without it being connected. Pretty sure its just for overspill/sloshing fuel when its too full.
Hope you get her started soon.
