Hi all
I recently snapped off a foot peg. I bought some of those solid billet rearsets to replace the originals. The problem with doing this is that the standard rear brake light switch won't operate with these rear sets so I fitted a hydraulic one which fits in top of the master cylinder atop the hose banjo thing replacing the bolt. Now the first switch leaked hydraulic fluid, not through a joint but where the wires come out of the top of the switch. I presumed that this was a faulty unit so I got a replacement. This is leaking in the same way. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution? Thanks the bugser

Re: Rear brake/rear sets issue
Being a faulty unit would be the conclusion i'd have come to, but to have two fail seems very unlucky. I've got one on my bike with no problems.
How hard can it be?
