nc24 Front brake master cylinder take 2
Struggling with this one, how do you get the master cylinder gubbins out, looked athe exploded parts picture, which shows a circlip holding the plunger bit in , be feckered if I can see it, and yes I have had my eye tested recently, is it a case of destroying the rubber wear to get to it? or even see it

you need to pull the rubber boot/top hat off, its under that, but the circlip maybe rusted, and there a bitch to get out, once thats out the spring inside the pluger should push that out with to rubber seals attached,BigDonk wrote:Struggling with this one, how do you get the master cylinder gubbins out, looked athe exploded parts picture, which shows a circlip holding the plunger bit in , be feckered if I can see it, and yes I have had my eye tested recently, is it a case of destroying the rubber wear to get to it? or even see it

Well Rick how right you are
I butchered the rubber wear, and lo I could see the circlip, and yep rusted in solid,
and a definite 3 handed job one to push the plunger a the other 2 to fiddle the circlip pliers into
it, what an arse ache, its stuck solid, might have to wait and let it soak in penetrating oil for a few days
