Front header pipes all the same?
Ok so Im taking it to remove the front header pipes of a nc30/35 you have to take off the bottom rad and drain the rad etc?
If im changing my stainless yamamoto system for a tyga twin stack what is the likely hood of the 2 front headers being the same?
Just though I would ask before removing them as if the same no point.

they may fit, but the Tyga front pipes are probably different, and IMO it's worth putting the whole system on as it will have been designed to work with each part, plus the Tyga front pipes are lighter than the Honda ones

Thanks mate, the one on is stainless but they look exactly the same... Just seems silly to remove rad etc for all that or is there an easier way to remove front pipes? Also are these bikes easy to drain and fill with coolant?

I'm not entirely sure as I haven't tried it myself, but if you take the lower rad off, but keep the pipes on it, you won't have to drain the system but might be able to get in behind it.
Filling with coolant is easy, just be aware that it's easy to get an airlock, fill up the system, but keep the rad cap off, run the engine until it gets warm, then blip the throttle to 5k to speed up the coolant flow, that should push out any air in there

I removed and replaced my entire exhaust system on an NC30;
Just strip the fairings off the bike, undo the bolt on the bottom of the lower rad and swing it forward on its hinge. Get a bit of rope or just cable tie it to the forks or wheel and it's fine - no need to remove any of the cooling system at all. A long extension bar and a knuckle joint make it a 10x easier job.
Not sure about an NC35 though.

Thanks mate looks the same. Im actually considering flushing the cooling system anyway as it looks like its only water in there. Can you use G12 coolant on these engines? The orange stuff, I use it in all my cars now.
Looks like the headers are exactly the same though.

I didnt remove my rad to remove or fit my exhausts, hell i can even remove and fir front plugs without moving the rad, i must have more paitence than others, but i dont see what the deal is.
