I am a bit of a tossa, I like a shift light.
To save me figuring out what makes the taco work etc. Has anyone fitted a DIY shift light to the NC30 ?
Cheers,

I've seen one of these used on an nc30. Aussie made, good bit of gear:

From memory it reads revs from the coil, not the tacho. I think installation instructions are available on their website.

I have one of these:
http://www.xtracing.com/en/gpxpro/index.php
Which has a lot more than just shift lights! However, it may be worth the extra $$ stretch? The data logging side of things is pretty sweet and a GPS laptimer speaks for itself!
This runs off the coil as well. You can also calibrate rpm/speed per gear and get a gear indicator as well.

I think Rick Oliver sells shift lights.
