Found this on t'internet

Will it make any difference to the performance with the stock filter?

Any other options or suggestions welcome or is it £25 a pop for the Honda part

In my personal opinion and with the experience I have had - OEM filter all the way. They are cheap and last long enough that the price does not matter to me.

OEM filters, IMO, work far better than any aftermarket/home made/etc etc style and apart from the gross hypocrisy of me running a HRC foam setup right now, I would go with OEM every time (and will do when I swap the carbs off my race bike onto the road bike.)

Setting the bike up is far easier with OEM filter too.
