fork alignment out?

Post by STYLER » Tue Jun 07, 2011 6:20 pm

right, ive replaced the head bearings and original my bent forks on my nc30 with used ones in good condition and the stanchions seemed straight when i checked them. I put the top yoke on finger tight, put the forks in (went in smoothly), tightened the bottom yoke bolts and torqued up the stem bolt like the haynes says. The wheel, discs and axle all look spot on with the fork leg bottoms.

Ive just noticed the wheel is noticably out of alignment with the yokes when sat on the bike and looking at from the front??

Surely the top yoke cant have twisted when ive tightened the stem nut up as the secure fork legs should stop this happening?

Any ideas? shall i undo the stem nut and see if it might align or i might just order a skip and get rid as this bike is getting right on my moobs!!
