Hi.
Having just bought an NC35 for a bit of fun, I have decided to tidy her up a little bit and wanted to junk the combined chain guard and hugger, only it seems to carry the only fixings for the rear brake hose.
Whilst looking to buy this bike I spotted a number that seem to have had the brake hose re-routed through the hollow swingarm but I cannot see any obvious locations to do this (either in or out). I know I could buy just a chainguard but wanted to run it with neither.
I would appreciate any guidance from someone who may have seen or even done this modification or indeed, alternative solutions would be most welcome.
Many thanks.

Hi,
Firstly, apologies. Did try a search but clearly didn't try hard enough! But thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Cheers

That's an original user name, I saw a 750 Guinness at the Stafford show in Oct 2009 on a club stand.

Re: Honda NC35 re-routing rear brake line
Thanks, it came from a Gixer 750 I had. I must have repainted it 3 or 4 times and finally went for plain stealth black with no decals at all. I then went to watch the northwest 200 and after a week in Ireland drinking their Guinness I decided to decal it all up in Guinness livery. I had it for 6 years and sold it 4 years ago but the name seems to have stuck.

Done it on plenty of NC30s, NC35s must be the same.

How hard can it be?

Definately looks good. Might have to buy another swingarm (just in case) and give it a go. I've already removed the chainguard and hugger so just need to temporarily secure the brake hose ahead of it's first outing round Cadwell Park next Thursday
.
