not the rad cap already tryd that its bugging me now got 3 weeks left before we go to the tt n it over heats and runs like a bad of shite

My nc35 use to overheat so I did the following
Replaced rad cap with original Honda one
Replaced thermostat seals
Replaced waterpump and seals and it fixed the problem
My waterpump seemed fine but it looked like it developed rust in it so I took the water pump from my spare engine

to test the waterpump you can fill the rads, take the cap off and when you blip the throttle the level should change in the rad.

You've got a ballache ahead of you to sort it..get on it

tested the water pump to day and its fine ive spoke to a machanic at fastline and the only other option he thinks is that its the head gasket thats gone so im just goner look for a new block now if anyone has one going cheap thanx for every1s help

changing the headgasket is not that tough... The gear driven cams are a bonus.

do a compression test too - don't assume it is fucked and you need a new motor.
Also,.what does your oil look like? Is it clean and lovely or is it creamy and frothy?

On the pressure test easy job to do
and the oil condition.

Don't just believe the mechanic as he might just be guessing and has gone for a worst case scenario.

oils all fine, water has a little bit of an oil shine on top if you put some in a cup, would the head gasket make it misfire when it gets hot coz of loosing comporetion
