i'll check tomorrow when i get to work.
brand new only fitted last week.... so if it is buggered then i'll make sure its replaced for free!

You have to clean the inside of the rotor of any copper which has melted to it or your new workings won't last long. Careful as the inside edge is sharp.

bit late mate.. work already done, and i did clean it all down, looked for shards etc.

readings today are
battery: 13v
idle:13/14v
5k RPM No headlights on: 15v
5k RPM with lights on: 14V---> seeing as i normally ride with them on all the time...

How many v's are in 15v? 14.8v is good. 15.0v is probably fine. 15.5 is pushing it.

it takes its time to creep up to 15V (eg over 30 seconds).. so i round it UP
