nc23 carbs

hi all i wonder if anyone can help me out, will the nc29 carbs fit and run fine on the nc23, or do any other carbs fit straight on, as i have a broken brown plastic joining tube between the left and right hand carbs carries the fuel in to them, kind of T peice,
if anyone has one please let me know asap, or info on carbs for the nc23,

29 carbs wont fit without modification as they wont fit with the 23's airbox. You can make them fit by joining the airbox plate off the 23 carbs too the 29 carbs ie by fibre glass but then the tank will sit slightly higher and will need spacing out. It can be done but I would suggest trawling ebay for 23 carbs instead

i have 2 spare sets of carbs mate, £40 + £10.50 postage if your interested

Get on eBay, the 'T-junctions split regularily when the carbs are twisted on removal.

The plastic after 20 years of fuel and use gets pretty brittle

Otherwise ring Fowlers in Bristol or a similiar large retailer of new parts. I think a fuel inlet T-juntion is around £15 - £20

Hi All,
thanks for the replies great, the plastic peice im after is £27 plus vat, a bit much for a bit of plastic,
anyway it is for my sons first big bike so hes struggling with the cost of doing her up as hes on a budget, we might have to see if we can get a cheap set of carbs,
