Frame/ swinging arm advice needed
Hi, i could do with some advice as i am thinking about powdercoating my frame and swinging arm, but im worried about the cost of all the bearings and seals that will need replacing. Does anyone have a rough idea what needs to be changed, how much it ll cost and also wether theres anything i can reuse. I dont want to get the powder coating done to find i have another couple of hundred to spend to put it back together. Thanks for any advice :)

You will have to renew steering bearings (cost <£30 for needle bearings)robsturrs888 wrote:Hi, i could do with some advice as i am thinking about powdercoating my frame and swinging arm, but im worried about the cost of all the bearings and seals that will need replacing. and you will have to replace the swingarm bearings. I am not sure about the cost of them, but it's usually itro £30. To be honest, on most bikes of this era it's generally a good plan to replace these by now anyway.
