bike wont start ¬_¬

Post by DK-Tandy » Mon Apr 11, 2011 5:06 pm

so after i fitted the cable, put all the bike back together, the bike wont start... now i dont know if anything is wrong because im not very good with these bikes..

all you can hear is the starter motor, there is no firing when pressing the button.

it sounded like it was going to fire at one point but only for a split second then nothing again...

what could it be? im going to remove my push throttle cable and go from there to see if the bike will work again..

if not, its got to be something to do with the set up of the carbs.

you don't need a push cable, so shy would that affect anything?

I reckon no fuel, so check your hoses from having the tank off

How about the kill switch? Make sure that's not on.
Take the spark plugs out and check if they r wet. U might have flooded the spark plus

i fixed the bike :D

once again for the 4th time ive broke it and after 2 or 3 differents things such as choke, throttle position, lights on/off etc, i give up, go back after 10 mins or so and boom, it works again..

this time i ran the bike with no tank only using the fuel thats in the pipes and it works fine

just need to sort my throttle out now :D

I have always had that problem, bump starting the bike seems to always start it. worth knowing if you ever get stuck anywhere. I think its something todo with a faultly/dirty neutral sensor.
