No that will do you. You can use old seals to drift new seals in with, quite effective. You will be set with a windy gun to remove bottom damper bolt.samace wrote:Took forks off, when you pull and push the stanchion there is a slight knock. I have ordered all new genuine honda bushes, seals, dust covers and clips to hold seals in. Have I forgot any thing ? (will get oil locally).

Then put them back together with the correct seals and be happy :)samace wrote:Cannot see any thing wrong bushes etc look ok slight scaring on fork tubes. bushes do not look worn as teflon coating intact.
It's more likely the disc bobbins or head bearings.

Re: NC30 Front Fork Knock
Are these newly bought? If so, you ought to be asking "a racer" to assist you with the cost of refurbishment of potentially dangerous forks, especially if they were sold to you in a supposedly good and serviceable condition. If he doesn't want to play fair - name and shame him!samace wrote:I have just noticed since I put my new forks on (Bought from a racer on here)that the seals are different to the ones on my original forks.
