Fuji Air Filters NC21/24. Buying one?

Post by thunderace » Fri Dec 24, 2010 12:34 pm

I bought one of these for a bargain price £28 delivered) from eBay and it arrived swiftly. But you should know one thing if you plan on buying one.

They are listed as NC21 and NC24 fitment. However, this isn't strictly true. The filter requires a little bit of flexing to fit the NC24 filter box and the side lugs are in a slightly different position to the NC24 ones, not much (a couple of mm tops) but enough to make it difficult to put the cover screws back in. The lugs are soft plastic though and will flex out of the way if you are careful.

Apart from that, the bike is running nice and smoothly now (I've also eliminated the air leak, my fault for not tightening up the inlet clamps properly). So it's a big thumbs up for the Fuji OE spec air filter :peace:

So it was an air-leak you found :-) I had that feeling.

The Honda OEM filters are only £21 + VAT (£25) from DSS though and they have them in-stock.

I've ordered one today.
