RVF 400 NC35

Post by samace » Thu Sep 09, 2010 10:16 pm

Just purchased this she is a beauty with only 5200 miles on. Just sorted a few teething problems but just need to know as per my NC30. Do I need to change the standard jets (the bike is completely standard) as the NC comes from japan with 110 all round. and has different jets front and rear. Do I need to drill slides ? and is there a need to put an extra shim under needles. The bike runs smoth from about 5k upwoods but a bit fluffy below that. the bike ticks over smoothly and the plugs look good (taken them out and cleaned) air filter ok but will replace and sub air filter missing will also replace.

:rocks: :plus:

The 35 carbs are not modded the same way as 30 carbs. IF you got a can or system then the general mods are 112 jets, 1mm needle washer and hrc springs. Plenty off topics on it, best thing to do is have a read up on it to understand what does what.
