There is a thread somewhere where CRM was asking for people to send him their how to guides to make a sticky section, but not sure if anythings come of it yet.

Do you have a Haynes manual? All the info you need will be in there.

Yes..

I think the guide(s) section should be kept for things not covered in the Haynes.

Such as carb modifications (already done!)

And other stuff :-)

I think threads like the types of exhaust one is great but it would be better if it was in a MODS section with sub headings, etc for quick and easy access.
People could put a few good pics/video with possibly fitting instructions, product stats, pros/cons, facts that can be easily compared and then people can say their opinions after, rather than having 18 pages on one mod that can get confusing with mixed up info/opinions etc. You can spend ages searching for a topic or having to continually go over the same questions which is probably annoying for the experts and novices like me when we get told to search for it!

Set headings like the valve clearances and clutch guides save a lot of hassle and are easy to find/use.

You could have:

MODS
Radiators - Rick Oliver, Gerd, etc
Exhausts - Tyga, HRC, MP, etc
Carbs - HRC etc
Engine internals - Polishing inlet ports, removing quietening gears, etc
Brakes - brembo
Forks - RS250, NC35 on NC30 etc
Shock - RS250, Nitron, Ohlins, hagon,
Bodywork - Tyga

Basically just go through the Rick Oliver Parts list

Damm my OCD!!!!

By the way i love this site and would be lost without the great advice, tips and info you all provide! I will try to add something useful when i have some money to lavish on me NC!
