afternoon chaps, recently my NC30 has been having a slight issue... shes fine with half throttle of less, but when i pin it open she'll run fine up untill about 9k revs then it feels as if the clutch is being pulled in slowly... revs rise but no pull....
is my clutch on the way out? or should i be looking towards the carbs?
tis quite a head scratcher as its only started happening recently.
thanks in advance....

Re: NC30 loosing power on full throttle
If your revs are going up and your bike isn't increasing in speed the clutch is slipping.
This could either be due to worn plates and / or weak springs.
My 24 was slipping terrible around 9 / 10k rpm.
Plates were fine but the springs had gone weak.

Re: NC30 loosing power on full throttle
phew- was hoping itd point towards the clutch. (no good at carbs)
to be fair, the clutch thats in there now has been in situ for god knows how long. shall treat her to a new set of plates and springs.
cheers fella!
