Wider wheel and swingarm?
Could you advice which swingarm (cbr900, cbr600.... ) can be fit to our frame ?

you can fit a wider wheel in the std swingarm. 5.5 inch off a 98 model cbr900rr fireblade. 5 spoke wheel. lathe down the 900rr sprocket carrier and make some new spacers. you'll only have a few mm in the end to play with. its doable, been done. my bike is proof. lathe the sprocket carrier to suit the 400 sprockets aswell
change the studs to bolts and obviously new wheel bearings to suit the 400 axle. use the std 400 spacer for the right hand side.

And does the chain touch tyre ?

SS400 closed in Ukrainian championship - so, I have good bike - I don't like to sell it. So, I will continue my technical experiments and will make "bike for look" :))) to be open...tanuki wrote:why do you want to do this?
