Hi guys,
I've done a search and read the guide about the old rs250 shock upgrade, however just wondering if any one who's done it can give me a few pointers on the filing of the dogbone?
By my measurements with the calipers, I gotta get rid of 5mm. Dogbone is 29.9mm and inner edge to edge of shock mount is 24.5mm. Wats the best way of going about this and keeping it accurate on each side? The handfile and a good degree of patience? Or is it best to take it to engineering shop and get it milled?
Sorry for all the q's, just dont wanna make a complete hash of it. Cheers.
Neil

Re: RS250 filing?
I just measured and made a mark the best i could on the linkage and went at it with a bench grinder. I removed the inner bush and did that seperate.

Thanks for the help mate.
I haven't got a bench grinder, only an angle grinder, could be a bit risky with that one.. Might take it to the machining shop see what they have to say... Cheers.
